Our Process

No fee of any kind is charged to candidates for our service.

The normal hiring season runs from December through June for positions for the following September. Department chair and senior administrative openings may be announced earlier, and may have a starting date of July or August. A number of openings occur during the summer, and we fill leave replacements during the school year.

Please note that if you have recently contacted an independent school directly, we cannot represent you for any openings at that school for the coming year.

How to Apply

1. Please fill out our application form and attach your resume and cover letter.
2. If we select you as a candidate, we will ask you to email supporting documents:

  • Copies of college/university transcripts (may be unofficial)
  • A list of 3 recommenders
  • Recommendation letters, if/when available

These documents may be in Word or PDF format.
We make every effort to respond to your application, however, we interview only candidates whom we feel we can place in current or potential positions.
If you reside outside the New York Metropolitan area, we can start with a phone or SKYPE interview.
